Trans Is Creation, and who better at creating herself than our friend the butterfly? You’ll see Iris Flowers appear throughout Trans & Caffeinated, because irises carry a lot of really relatable imagery… there was a Greek Goddess named Iris who travelled on rainbows to bring messages to the world (G A Y).
White irises also symbolize driving hate out with love. Blue irises symbolize hope—in this case the hope trans people represent. Pink irises symbolize love and relationships. Together, these flowers on the butterfly symbolize our journey as a community – growing through our bonds with one another to bring the world toward a place of love, hope, and care.
